Training, Consultancy and Writing

We offer training, consultancy and writing services for individuals and for organisations of all sizes.

What We Offer

For Organisations and for Individuals

We work with individuals and with organisations, both large and small.

When working with organisations, we tailor all of our work to the needs of the organisation itself. We charge a straightforward day-rate, set at local NGO consultancy rates.

If you are an individual writer looking for mentoring and support, then look below to see what we offer in terms of writer mentoring and development.

Wherever You Are, Get In Touch

Wherever and whatever your project may be, we are excited to explore working with you. To date, we have worked on projects in the UK, Indonesia, Bulgaria and Myanmar. We are nimble, mobile, and experienced at working in cross-cultural settings.

What We Offer

Storytelling for NGOs

We have run workshops with staff from Myanmar-based civil society NGO Paung Ku. We worked on developing the Paung Ku team’s storytelling and communication skills, enabling them to better connect with their funders, partners and audiences.

What We Offer

Ethical Leadership

We have worked as consultants for Mote Oo Education in Myanmar. Mote Oo commissioned us to write and research an ethical leadership textbook for use by grassroots and post-secondary education providers, both in Myanmar and across the region.

What We Offer

Writing and Ethics

At the 2018 Ubud Writers and Readers Festival in Bali, Indonesia, we ran an intensive workshop for Indonesian and international writers, exploring writing and ethics.

What We Offer

Teacher Training

We were invited by the Education Gathering Group in Hpa-An, Myanmar, to work with language teachers from community education projects. In our training, we explored how creative writing can be used as a powerful learning tool in multilingual environments.

What We Offer

Writing for Refugees

As part of a collaboration between Writing East Midlands and City of Sanctuary, we ran writing workshops and public literature events for refugees and asylum-seekers in Leicester, UK.

What We Offer

Writing Courses

During our seven month writing residency at the Parami Institute, Yangon, we ran a range of courses covering topics including writing and activism, community and personal myths and stories, and unlocking your creativity.

Writer Mentoring & Development

We are experienced writing mentors, and are excited to help you develop your work whatever stage in your career you may be.
