Bookman Books was established in 1977 in Taipei and has grown into a prominent Taiwanese publisher and importer of books. The company specializes in Mandarin and English titles across a wide range of subjects, including literary works, linguistics, translation studies, film, drama, social sciences, and cultural research.</p> <p>Our first event is centred around <em>Tâigael: Stories from Taiwanese&amp;Gaelic</em> and the second on the recently published <em>Mother Tongue</em>, by Taiwanese Canadian writer Hilda Hoy.</p>
