Taipei International Book Exhibition 2026

Next week we’ll be at the Taipei International Book Exhibition! The event runs from the 3rd February 2026 for five days and is held at the Taipei World Trade Center.

The Taipei International Book Exhibition is Asia’s largest and the world’s fourth-largest annual book fair, acting as a major hub for international publishing, copyright trading, and promoting reading culture. Wind&Bones Books will be there alongside hundreds of global exhibitors and with over 500,000 expected visitors.

Whilst there, we’ll be promoting Tâigael: Stories from Taiwanese & Gaelic and our forthcoming title Mother Tongue by Hilda Hoy (amongst a myriad of other brilliant reads!).

Wind&Bones Books co-director Will Buckingham will also be taking part in the discussion panel, Soaring Beyond Literary Horizons. The panel will discuss the translation and transit of Taiwanese Literature: from multilingualism and independent publishing to translation outreach and notable literary perspectives.

The panel will be hosted by translator Jenna Tang, and Will is going to be speaking alongside Tâigael contributor Naomi Sim, Jeff Miller, Pei-Yu Kuo and Tae-Sung Kim.

We’re looking forward to seeing friends and making lots of new connections.
