Kick-Start Your Novel
Do you have a story you want to tell, but you just can’t get started? Have you started a novel, only to grind to a halt? Do you need inspiration, or a confidence boost?
Writing a novel is a big job. In this two-day crash-course, we will look at the essentials you need to get started, to develop a book already underway, or to get your novel finished and published.
What will the course cover?
Two days may not sound like much, but in these days we’ll cover a lot of ground, including the following:
- Developing ideas
- World-building for novelists
- Plot, character and storytelling
- Keeping sane
‘There are many reasons why novelists write – but they all have one thing in common: a need to create an alternative world.’— John Fowles
