On our two-day course, Remaking the World, you will:

What will you do on the course?
Our courses are highly interactive. A typical session mixes individual writing, conversation, work with your peers in pairs and groups, reading, and loads of stimulating content.
Bring a notebook and pen, or a laptop to work on.
Suitable everyone from beginners to experienced writers.

How will the course be taught?
This is a twelve-hour, two-day intensive course, taught over a single weekend.
For one weekend, we will form a creative community, and explore the issues that mean most to us. We will give our writing skills a boost. And we will find new strategies for powerful communication.
It is interactive, high-energy, and suitable for all levels of experience. The language of teaching will be English.
Who will be teaching the course?
The course will be taught by Dr. Hannah Stevens and Dr. Will Buckingham.
Hannah has a PhD in creative writing. Her short story collection In Their Absence, exploring missing people and broken lives, will be published in 2020. She has written for Litro, Unthank Books’s Unthology, High Spirits from Valley Press, and many others.
Will has a PhD in philosophy and an MA in anthropology. He is the author of eleven books. His next book is Hello Stranger: Stories of Connection in a Divided World (Granta 2020). He has publications with Knopf, Scholastic, Dorling Kindersley, Aeon Magazine, the BBC and others.
